Belinda Dorn is new to the area and excited to get involved with coaching at NEWSC.
She was a skating coach for the Nantucket Skating Club and Nantucket Ice Rink for over 20 years.
Co-founder of the Island Waves Synchronized Skating and ACK Dramatic Theater on Ice teams and skating director for Nantucket Ice Rink, she has taught all ages.
She coached 15 years of competitive synchronized and individual skating, 4 years of competitive Theater on Ice and was a lead coach of the Learn to Skate program for 17 years.
She is a certified coach with US Figure skating and Learn to Skate USA and is SafeSport compliant. She is also the test chair and sanction chair for Nantucket Skating Club.
Belinda loves to teach beginner skaters of all ages as well as those working to perfect their figure skating techniques.
She is currently accepting new students.
