Directions to Deerfield Academy
From north of Deerfield
Take I-91 south to exit 43.
At the traffic circle, take the third exit onto 2A east.
Go about a mile and turn right onto River Street, which becomes Mill Street.
After another mile plus, continue right at the three-way intersection.
Continue on Route 5 south (Deerfield Street) for about three miles.
Turn right onto Memorial Drive and follow the directions below to the rink.
From northeast of Deerfield
Take Route 2 west to Greenfield. Exit onto Route 5 south. Follow for a mile plus through downtown.
Go under railroad bridge and turn left at three-way intersection.
Continue on Route 5 south (Deerfield Street) for about three miles.
Turn right onto Memorial Drive and follow the directions below to the rink.
From southeast of Deerfield
Take Route 116 north to Route 5. Turn right and drive north on Route 5 for five miles.
Turn left onto Memorial Drive and follow the directions below to the rink.
From south of Deerfield
Take I-91 north to exit 35 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp.
Drive north on Route 5 for about five miles.
Turn left onto Memorial Drive and follow the directions below to the rink.
From west of Deerfield
Take Route 116 south.
Cross I-91 and turn left onto Route 5 (Greenfield Road) north.
Drive north on Route 5 for about four miles.
Turn left onto Memorial Drive and follow the directions below to the rink.
From northwest of Deerfield
Take Route 2 east towards Greenfield.
At the traffic circle in Greenfield, take the second exit onto 2A east.
Go about a mile and turn right onto River Street, which becomes Mill Street.
After another mile plus, continue right at the three-way intersection.
Continue on Route 5 south (Deerfield Street) for about three miles.
Turn right onto Memorial Drive and follow the directions below to the rink.
Directions to the Skating Rink
From Route 5, turn west onto Memorial Street.
At the fork, bear left and cross Old Main Street. Memorial Street becomes Boyden Lane, but there is no sign.
Bear left and stay on this road, even though it doesn’t feel like you belong there.
Turn left at the tennis pavilion; there is a wooden rail fence at the turn.
This will bring you into the unpaved parking lot. The rink entrance is at the far end of the buildings on the right.
Follow the zig-zag ramp up to the entrance.
Or, from Memorial Street, turn right onto Old Main Street and then left onto Albany Road.
Bear left to stay on Albany road.
The athletic facility that contains the rink is near the end of the road. Park along the road and enter through the front door.
Inside, you need to go downstairs — one flight for the bleachers and two for the ice level.
