All groups and practice ice take place at the Deerfield Academy ice rink.
The Adult Skaters’ Group is for adult skaters looking to improve their skills. Skaters should be able to do front and back crossovers, inside and outside three turns, Mohawks, a one-foot or two-foot spin, and a half-revolution jump. The 30-minute session will include instruction in a variety of skating categories. Adult group is available by subscription for the whole season or by guesting for $15 per class for members, $17 for non-members. Will be available in fall 2024.
Practice Ice
We have half-hour sessions of practice ice and a half-hour skating skills (formerly Moves in the Field) session Monday and Thursday evenings. See the calendar for exact dates and times of Spring Practice Ice. Enroll through EntryEeze.
Practice Ice is available by subscription for the whole season, by guesting on a weekly basis for $10 for members or $12 for non-members, or by payment with coupons.
Coupons
Booklets of 20 coupons for $180 are available for purchase under Merchandise on EntryEeze. Coupons may be used to pay for guesting on practice and skating skills sessions. Non-member booklets are $220, and arrangements for purchase must be made by contacting Maria Santore at Santore@mail.pse.umass.edu.
